Money Makes The World Go Round

I first composed this song a few years ago but I wasn’t too sure about its original genre, so I worked hard on it taking it to a more powerful EDM style with some hip hop elements during the pre-chorus and the bridge section of the track.

I wrote the lyrics talking about “greed” because, as the title represents, money seems to make the world go round. However I did it sarcastically, criticizing certain behaviors such as craving for fame and money, acting like it’s the only thing that matters or like it makes them something special, and pretending that everything’s okay as long as we’re loaded. I also mentioned social media in the lyrics because I think that, just like money, some people often use them both to show off and build up a fake self-esteem that’s just not meant to last because of how weak it is.
